Under this society, initially a dispensary had been started at Kotkapura (Distt. Faridkot) to provide healthcare services to the poor patients and provide quality nursing care and in subsequent years, many educational institutes have been established. His dream was actually materialized when their first private nursing institute was established in September, 2000 as ‘Malwa Institute of Nursing’ in Punjab in Kotkapura which was renamed as ‘Malwa College of Nursing’ in 2006. In the beginning, it started operation with 40 seats for students who have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. The initial program that had been announced was ‘GNM’ or ‘General Nursing & Midwifery' (G.N.M). The seats for the course had been increased from 40 to 60 in 2002. Later on Another four year course B. In 2004, as a result of hard work and the efforts in the community welfare by Late Dr. Ravinder Singh, the government of Punjab granted ‘Essentiality Certificate’ to Malwa Educational Society to start Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) programme at The "Malwa College of Nursing" at Kotkapura with an intake of 25 students from the academic session 2007-08.
To provide essential training to GNM students, the Malwa Educational Society had come up with the sister institute ‘Dr. Ravinder Institute of Nursing, Bajakhana (Distt. Faridkot). Another educational institutes that have been established are `Malwa Degree College`Kotkapura, "Dr. Ravinder Sen. Sec. School" and "Dr. Ravinder Convent School" Bajakhana.
